King’s Daughters Medical Center
King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) is a locally controlled, not-for-profit, 385-bed regional referral center, covering a 150-mile radius that includes southern Ohio, eastern Kentucky and western West Virginia. KDMC offers comprehensive cardiac, medical, surgical, maternity, pediatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care services in one convenient location. Established in 1899, KDMC currently ranks fourth in the state of Kentucky in terms of overall admissions, and, with approximately 3,900 team members, is the largest employer between Charleston, W.Va., and Lexington, Ky.

Trover Clinic
Trover Health System is an integrated healthcare system located in Western Kentucky. THS is comprised of Regional Medical Center, a 410-bed hospital; Trover Clinic, with seven off-campus outpatient clinic locations; and an Education and Research Division. Its centers of excellence include the Merle M. Mahr Cancer Center, the Center for Women's Health, the Jack L. Hamman Heart and Vascular Center, and a comprehensive sports medicine and fitness facility. Trover offers over 40 different specialties with more than 100 primary care and specialist physicians in practice.

University of Kentucky
The mission of UKHealthCare is to achieve national recognition as a top 20 public academic health center in research funding and to provide optimal multidisciplinary health care and develop advanced therapeutics for the people of Kentucky and surrounding regions. Unique clinical service offerings are provided such as Level I trauma center, bone marrow transplantation center and a 66 bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit. UK HealthCare consists of the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Health, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. Within UK HealthCare there are over 80 specialized clinics, 143 outreach programs and a team of 6000 physicians, nurses, pharmacists and health care workers all dedicated to patient health. The mission of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is to deliver superior health care to women and unborn children in the Commonwealth of Kentucky through the provision of highly compassionate and personalized care, the discovery and application of patient-centered scientific knowledge and the education of current and future practitioners of the art and science of medicine. The department consists of 35 faculty, 30 MD physicians and 5 PhD investigators. Over 50,000 episodes of outpatient care were provided last year in a variety of clinical settings, both on the University of Kentucky HealthCare campus as well as four sites distributed throughout the city. Additionally, the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides subspecialty MFM services at five outreach sites and the Division of Gynecologic Oncology provides ovarian cancer screening at five sites throughout Kentucky. The department has been recognized in the last two years as being in the top 50 in US News and World Report.
